Working around siesta

Life on the island comes to a stop at 1.00 in the afternoon and starts again at 4.00. Working around the siesta hours can be very frustrating.

Iridium problems

Problems establishing satellite data connectivity with the server. Tracking software needs to be reinstalled and reconfigured.

Meeting with Andrew Matheu, CEO D&A in Barcelona, who comes down to La Gomera to meet me. He plans to cross the Atlantic in September. More checks on the EPIRB, hatch and electrics. Condensation in the hatch at night is a big problem.
